 OK confesion time.

Years ago I used to do a car share and one morning as we made our way into work through deep snow we spotted a human sized snow covered lump on the grass verge. My friend and I looked at each other as we drove around the bend but agreed that no, it couldn't have been a body. About half a mile up the road we spotted a car overturned in a field. As we debated what to do, thinking some poor soul had skidded off the road in the night, crawled for help and perished on the grass verge, not being very brave we decided to continue the 5 minutes into work and ring the Police. Muggins here got the job, gave all my details and was told they would send a car out to investigate. A short while later the Police called back and much to the amusement of my colleagues we were told our corpse had turned to be a 5 foot teddy bear. The lady calling did say the Officer has said it made his heart jump when he first saw it though. 15 years later whenever it snowed I could always rely on some bright spark bringing it up :)

I wonder how long it will be before someone shoots the dog thinking it is a lion. The owner is totally irresponsible allowing it to run out to the road and alarm people.
