thank you, have set the vid!

I want to see his heavy horse program, the horses were sold to him by the friend of a friend of mine who also breeds them. He wanted one of my friends, but the colt he wanted was already sold. Martin Clunes goes to the heavy horse shows apparently he's as nice and down to earth really as he appears in TV (not when being Doc Martin obviously lol)

So sad that Guide Dogs for the Blind used a 18mth old as a brood bitch. She was only a baby herself.

That really hacked me off. Poor Allan had to sit through my mini-rant

She's a large breed, she should be at least 2 years old. And of course, now the general public has seen a program where a well-respected charity are breeding from an 18 month old bitch, they're going to think that's the right way to do it

On a happier note I was glad to see them showing the huskies and explaining what they are bred to do and their level of ability, hopefully it might make some people think twice about getting the pretty husky puppy with no thought about what they are for. Wishful thinking maybe, but every little helps :)

To be fair, i wonder if that was a scripting mistake rather than an actual fact....well that's kind of true, i just looked at their code of ethics. They won't breed a bitch younger than 19 months and she must be mated so as not to whelp before age 20 months.

I can't post a link as its a downloadable document but its easy to find if you google.

If you have Sky you can get it on the On Demand ITV bit, on about page 3 or 4. I'm just watching it now.
