Does anyone know if you can buy a cover for a dog crate (large one) that would keep flys out. Now we have a taffy garden to use when we are away in the motorhome and are thinking towards the better weather when we could have the dogs outside. Arthur loves to get in his crate for a snooze but he absolutely hates flys and midges so we were wondering if we could get a cover that would let him see out and get fresh air but keep the bugs away.

Charles has a soft crate which is sort of screened - it is quite useful too as it colapses easily.

I've never seen a fly cover but could you make one out of net curtain fabric?

:thanks: you've just reminded me we have a travel crate somewhere which has canvas sides and a mesh door, need to get it out and have a look, might be OK with a net curtain draped over the door part.

you need for close mesh to keep midges out, normal fly screening is too large.
